@rubber_jonnie , I so enjoy reading about your exploits. You never know what will befall you in your efforts to give these old computers a forever home. From soldering Iron attacks to successful board builds, you just can't make this stuff up. You should rename your running forum to "The Adventures of Rubber Jonnie.".

@rubber_jonnie Spectrums are easy to fix. Do the composite mod first and then off you go.

I've never worked on the international boards but there are some odd transistors in the tube power side if I remember also the yoke connector are bad for cracks from one end to the other
