You would need to re-partition your SD card now. Bigdos just allows TOS to access FAT partitions up to 2gb. But you ain't got a partition that big at the moment, does that make sense?

I think so.

Am I right in thinking I can't use this method now:

US Atari 520 STFM (C070523-001 REV.D1) , Exxos PSU, 4MB Marpet Upgrade, Exxos 6 Chip TOS 1.04 USA, EmuTOS 20211020, Ultrasatan, PP Driver, Original Floppy Disk Drive, NEC Multisync EA193Mi Monitor, Star LC-10c Printer, iMP C100110-001 DMA.

@Cosmic Puppet

You can still follow his guide - except remember re-initializing the sd card will wipe it completely. I am not familiar with PP's driver but it looks to me that it only lets you type in three figures, perhaps that changes when you click 'change type' which is on the right hand side. Maybe when you set FAT32 you might be able to type more than three numbers, like 2048. If this doesn't work you might want to e-mail Ppera about it.

Thanks @Steve I'll try it. Got a spare SD card for trying new things.

Okay, so I created a 8.0GB partition which the partitioner listed as 7.8GB but shows up in TOS as 8000MB.

Partition is visible on PC (FAT 32) However, although I can copy files to it, they are invisible to TOS (shows as empty with free space, yet visible on PC)

My usual partitions properties are FAT (not FAT 32).

I just tried copying a file from floppy disk to the partition to see if it worked that way and got a "Invalid copy operation" message.

Even if I have an AUTO folder with BIGDOS.PRG in it things are still the same. It's Atari Blind. :lol:

I don't think TOS will cope with FAT32... Isn't it limited to FAT12 ? Some new fancy OS may do FAT16 or better..

@Cosmic Puppet Sorry I think it needs to be FAT16, also no bigger than 2GB remember, bigdos allows up to 2gb max.

If you got an 8GB card, you could do: C: 512mb D: 512mb E: 2048 F: 2048 G: 2048 H: 1024

Just tried and it's not working. Typed 2.0GB into it as FAT32 (which we know won't work) and it zero'd it. In C16 (the setting that works) Typing in anything at 512MB and above will recieve a message and be set to 511.

I'll just stick with this for now. May try HD Driver in the future.

Just wish I could remember what that game was called?
