IMO, get a Ultrasatan from lothreak and try that one out.. as diagnosing the STE when the fault may well be that other US is just unreliable , trying to diagnose the STE may be a bit pointless..

Hi everyone, thought I would just revive my old post.

Have ordered an Ultra Satan Mini from Amiga Store as advised and whilst I have been waiting for it to arrive I have been testing some other storage solutions on the STE.

Must admit I had not realised until recently the NetUSBee can use a USB stick as an HD. Set Up a boot disk with the drivers and used Big DOS to access the partitions I created in GParted which were set up as F16.

Surprised the level of Demos which will run (Midnight Sun and Summer Delights come to mind) but when it is comes to HDD game files it is a bit hit and miss.
Will continue to experiment but for the short to medium term at least I have a drive system which I can write to in 8 and 32mhz mode I can use the current Ultra Satan to read if the installs will not work via the NETUSBee :-)

Still on the look out for a "Good DMA Chip" but the only one I can find is in the states and lets just say the price was a tad over my budget :-)

Will keep you all posted

Flashed your bin file, but my bluepill doesn't start. Latest code from https://github.com/retro16/acsi2stm compiles and flashes just fine...
