Hey all,
I always wanted to add some decent RF shielding on certain parts of my Falcon. I used kapton tape to insulate the components from electricity and then encased them in copper tape. Then reapplying kapton as the final layer to insulate the surrounding to avoid any shorts. My ct60e's RAM is also very touchy when it comes to the close power cables from the ATX, putting a Pico straight in next to the RAM causes all sorts of crashes for instance, adding shielding stops it happening (I'm using a proper ATX PSU now anyway but still wanted to do it)
Anyway in case anyone is interested in what I've done here are some photos.

Re: RF shielding my Falcon
Interesting idea. Aren't you afraid that the RAM module generates some heat which has nowhere to go?
Re: RF shielding my Falcon
@mikro I did at first but I don't think SD ram generates barely any heat worth worrying about. I ran the system for quite a few hours last night doing some heavy lifting, in Mint running X server and XChat IRC while internet streaming music, was rock solid. The ram module didn't seem to get warm.
