I will be doing this when I get hold of a board:

https://stardot.org.uk/forums/viewtopic ... 13#p324713

It looks better than the RGB cards from back in the day, and looks to be the cheapest option by far.

Yep, I want one of these too, but for now I'll have to stick to the OSSC, Retrotink and plain old composite to my Dell display!

So, it's back to the Seltron FDD, mostly because I think I finally understand what's wrong.

Capacitors are all replaced and good, but disassembling and cleaning some other 5 1/4" drives from around the same time period (An Atari 1050 with a very similar physical drive mechanism), I can see that the motor drive wheel has a rubber drive component on the brass spindle. It isn't easy to see, however it is there and it's what stops the drive belt slipping on the brass spindle.

Given the motor on the Seltron has a really narrow spindle, and that I found what looked like rubber residue on it previously, I'm definitely going down the path or trying to fix that next, as it is clearly and obviously slipping still.

Hopefully I can take a look over the weekend, it would be great to get the Seltron running again.
