After discovering the OPD monitor was likely a modified Microvitec Cub thanks to Stephen Usher's eagle eyes, I had a look around for the number on the main PCB.
I ended up at the still functioning Microvitec site, and they have a low scan range of LCDs specifically suited for the 15-60Khz range, so specifically compatible with CGA, EGA, TTL, analogue, sync on green, BNC inputs, 9 pin 'D' and 15 pin 'D'.
The site can be found here: http://www.microvitec.co.uk/low-scan-monitors.html though I don't see any mention of prices on there.
Microvitec still exists!!
