Cause I want an IDE interface that works in both 6800 mode and 030 mode. I also like the idea of the speed penalty free automatic byte swapping.
Can understand that.. I try and configure each machine and leave it that way. I find that plugging things in and out causes issues. Also I was thinking that having two IDE interfaces would collide. Is the 536 IDE address outside of the the 68k's address space? How does EmuTOS deal with two IDE interfaces in the memory map?
This might explain why I cannot get it working... :) lol

I suspect both IDE interfaces are at the same address range so I would test with one in at a time.

There is a firmware version around for the TF536 that changes the ide address to the second address range. I've probably got it somewhere as I have a v1.1 ide and a TF536 working fine together.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

That would be handy for when the Xilinx programmer arrives...though I've still to sort out a working CF card. At least I have the latest HD Driver sorted now, so one less hurdle to overcome (I hope!)

I'll sort you out that CF card image if you want Jez?

@PhilC If you get chance, that would be great...but I suspect that the CF cards I have aren't compatible with my Falcon (but hoping to be proven wrong)...
