I highlighted the trace you was questioning... I think your not seeing exactly where the traces go and its resulting in the confusion.

So then as I said.. just the one trace that goes to the via to the other side of the board to the ROM?

I don't know which vias your referring to.. I highlighted the ones you mention anyway.. its better just to look at the images to see where things go.

This is why sometimes this is better in PMs.. there seems to be a communication issue.. So layer 4 is the bottom? where I pulled the pad from?

SO I will need to jumper to make the trace you highlighted work.. correct?

Fixed! - fired up and working.

Have an HXC Gotek with it.. need to figureout how to setup the USB drive... off to the website!

Because I dont have a floppy connected in testing this.
It's a TOS 2.06 misbehaviour issue that I knew eons ago, but had forgotten before installing the TOS switcher in the STe I picked up. Without a floppy connected, it'll do the RAM test, but then four bombs instead of move on to the desktop. Unrelated to the TOS switcher.

Thanks - yep I know FF.. this one has HXC on it.. so thought I would try it. Never played with it. I have played with FF for years though.. Keir has done some terrific stuff.
