Hi,
I'm having some problems with my scsi interface on my skunkified Falcon and I thought I'd remove everything that's not stock in the machine just to be sure. And the Skunk does not work, just freezes my machine when loading Skunk32.
Looking at the PCB and comparing it to the 74F04 fix over here one can see that the trace by R216 should not be cut in this case (but when using 74f08). (The black wire top left is going to RST on U24)
What I would like to have is a manual for the Skunk, but I haven't found it on the internets, just to be sure that I revert everything. If I can't find this I guess I should:
1. Desolder all Skunk wires.
2. Go over the mobo once again to look for any cut traces.
3. Run a wire from pin 12 on the 74F04 to R216.
Gentlemen and gentlewomen, any input?
Reverting Skunk.

And of course, after some more searching (including image search) I've found this:

However, it does not cover my version with red and orange wires..

Re: Reverting Skunk.
I would place some 33R in series with those F04 outputs to help solve the oscillations (or just use my V2 patch ) . You also need a good PSU..
But reverting the machine back to stock with a buffer board IMO should be done first, get that working first.

Re: Reverting Skunk.
I've been running it with a picoPSU (ok, connected to a CT60e ) so the PSU isn't the issue(?).
But that takes me to my next question.. Probably should have been the first: Should A1 of U7 be pulled low? I haven't seen any service bulletins regarding that.
I'll guess i'll just lift that wire.Skunk Manual wrote:From the U63 pad, connect to U36 (Pin110). Pay attention to the shortest possible cable length! The trace leading away from pin 110 is broken.

Re: Reverting Skunk.
Even more odd, its connected to pin 36 and its not even listed on the diagram... which connected to gnd on the regulator...

Re: Reverting Skunk.
Looking at the l53c80jc2 pinout its gnd.... and the other end of the cap is connected to gnd as well ?! That makes no sense at all.
