Man that is so weird. So absolutely nothing changed? Still bad DSP green/red readout? Also it plays mp3s with Falcamp but with pops and clicks?

Yes exactly, still as before! In an earlier post I had linked the YouTube videos to it.

Are you sure it is the DSP and not the audio amps or something ?

I would say yes. The problem only occurs with DSP applications. Normal sound chip music is played back flawlessly. If it were the sound OPV in front of the output, the problem should occur with all sounds and the DMA test program should then not display any missing bits.

Isn't the SRAM prone to failure ?

@kohli79 After reading this on AF: https://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=26989

It seems SRAM might get considerably hot if they're malfunctioning. Perhaps you could feel and check while trying to play ace tracker or mp3. It might be a good indicator. Although in these instances bad SRAM just stopped their falcons working entirely, black screens etc, so I don't know if it would explain 'pops and clicks'. Very odd.

Also before I forget - the clock patch has two modes, standard and delay mode. It might be worth swapping this to see if anything changes.

First of all, thanks for the hints.
I will check that.

With the two modes I didn't know! I have to look ... :stars:
