Hey guys,
Just wondering about this, diagrom says memory test OK but yaart refuses to run and the desktop is corrupt:
ST rev H & agranlund ram troubleshoot (solved)
Re: ST rev H & agranlund ram troubleshoot
Most likely: CAS1H and CAS1L swapped.
Re: ST rev H & agranlund ram troubleshoot

Re: ST rev H & agranlund ram troubleshoot
@czietz - thanks m8, you were right
- Seems I followed the instructions correctly, but I think @agranlund might have either the MMU pinout wrong or his silkscreen wrong:
I did have CAS1L to 21 and CAS1H to 22 as described.
@exxos No bodge wires, I just routed the wires underneath the resistor legs to keep them neat.
- Seems I followed the instructions correctly, but I think @agranlund might have either the MMU pinout wrong or his silkscreen wrong:
Code: Select all
https://github.com/agranlund/STRam
MMU pins:
RAS1 = 18
CAS1L = 21
CAS1H = 22
MAD9 = 64

Re: ST rev H & agranlund ram troubleshoot
@exxos yes then the silkscreen on the 4mbstram board must be incorrect
