Arrived today. On nights while sat .

Build underway. Just header pins to go but our fine solder has been nicked so will finish at home tomorrow.
@exxos
Only question is that's the 22uf 63v cap for. A test or a bonus item
Or have a been too stupid and not read something

Its to bodge on the cap on the reset circuit as your machine probably won't reset when the booster is installed..

What's best tech for soldering the headers.
I've got 0.6mm solder . 0.2mm tip
Cleaned board , plenty of flux but struggling to get solder to flow. Even tried upto 400c .
Or is it just lack of practice

I changed tip and solder seems to be better now
