Dear All,

I need some help..... again.... (I now nothing about hardware I can only read a manual)

After building the blitter board with IDE I need a TOS upgrade solution for the 520ST.

Luckily Anders has a solution called STROM.
So after ordering the PCB and some soldering I have the PCB ready.

I assume I can pull the current 1.04 ROM's and fit this board in the sockets.
Because my 520 ST is always in 256k mode I also need to solder wires from A16+A17 from the CPU to the A16+A17 headers.

But now may question I have two roms available (39SF020 and 39SF040).
Can I put in 2.06 and EMutos in these? How should this be burned?
I assume the 2.06 and Emutos should be divided between the two rom IC's?
So How should I do this? I don't have a rom burner myself but a friend could do this.
I hope you can give some tips.

The PCB:

Hi,

Long time no see :) Small update.
I just bought some 2.06 roms to try the board and it works. Finally have an upgraded rom. Still just plugged in the orginal rom sockets which need to be removed for the enclosure to fit.

If maybe somebody could share a link to a duo 2.06/emutos I would still prefer that solution (or a manual how to create such a rom).
I will probably now also will build the STRAM upgrade to replace the current one to free up space for a shifter upgrade.
I saw that there is now a pi/rgb solution that will probably also solve the video defects of the ST and supply a HDMI signal. (Is maybe somebody selling those pi/rgb boards here?)

PCB’s are in

So the 4mb expansion to free up some room at the shifter and the pi rgb project boards including the shifter board.
It is confirmed that the video quality is perfect with this installed on the small 520 ST.
Now waiting for IC’s from China.

I am a big fan of the 520ST too and want to upgrade mine.

Does anybody have some spare pcbs:
-blitter IDE TOS 2.06 decoder
-STROM
-ST RAM
or easy going ready soldered?

the STBlitter_RevC with ET4000 graphic cards looking great too...

thanks to agranlund for this great enhancements
