This is from a buddies Mega ST2

never seen this one... anywhere. No jumpers drive settings anything.. pretty wild.

I've never seen anything like that. Very interesting. I'll try to find more info.

I could keep this drive and put a std 380 in the machine.. wondering if its odd enough that its worth keeping??

Hmm, Bob its obvious with the eject button its an Atari targeted drive. If it has no jumpers I would think its made with the proper settings selected. Does it not work? Have you tried it on other machines?

The bottom metal bracket is not a part of the drive, possibly under it there are solder-jumpers.

This is a quite common late ST FDD SONY MP-F11W.

I suppose if he looked here, he might find a switch to configure the drive, particularly drive select 0 -3:

Sorry guys.. I have never seen that drive. I have seen.. 100 -200 floppies for Atari ST computers over the years.. Never that style of Sony.


I could not find any switch or anything czietz.. but yes.. it is configured correct.

Yes, the DS0..3 switch is where @czietz showed.
