9 pin to 25 pin cable

Hi.
Can anyone advise if this pinout is correct

9 pin
1 to pin 8 on 25
2 to 3
3 to 2
4 to 20
5 to 7
6 to 6
7 to 4
8 to 5
9 to 22

I'm guessing RS232 serial.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

So I can use use my diag cart on a st that's not displaying

So I've got my cable made up and checked . Teraterm on laptop.
The 25 pin in st to 9pin lead and 9 pin to usb with drivers installed. Showing as com 3 . Speed 9600 ,8 ,n etc
Should teraterm display or do I need to set something else.
Or is it because of my 9 pin to usb adaptor.
Or am I breaking the old desktop out of the loft.
