Asci's not-working Falcon motherboard arrived & I hope to give it some care and attention over the next few weeks.
One thing on my mind is when it comes to power it up, though, I'd like to run it from the bench power supply in case anything's not as it ought to be.
- Does it need the 12V line to boot?
- If no, will any harm come from not having the 12V line?
- If yes, should the 12V line come up before, after or within a certain window of the 5V line coming up?
I'm sure I've seen something about this in the past, but my Google-fu is weak today. Or perhaps that was for the ST.
Cheers,
