100MHz Oscilloscope

I was browsing Ebay for a 100MHz scope, expecting to pay around £400 and this popped up in the search:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/372737846232

Now usually I am not a huge fan of these type of devices, but being as though it's portable, it would really appeal to me if it was even halfway decent.
This is also super tempting as there seems to be a 10% discount from eBay on it atm.

Does anyone have any experience with it? Primarily it would be used to check the clock signals on Amigas, so as long as it could do that without issues. I would buy it for that alone.

I would probably still buy a bigger desktop scope anyhow, but I'm tempted.

I prefer the old HP scopes.. They're not much more expensive, repairable and can do up to 500Mhz.

Yeah I understand that fully but my worktop cant cope with something that size there permanently.

I should look at making a larger working area, as I have an old scope in the shed that would be perfect for me.

If you're looking for alternatives, I can recommend the Rigol DS1054Z. It is software upgradeable to 100MHz and has the sampling rate of 1GSa/s.

There are currently deals with almost all options already included (for example https://www.batronix.com/shop/oscillosc ... 1054Z.html ).

And for educational purposes only you could generate a 100MHz activation code on this site: http://www.gotroot.ca/rigol/riglol/ ;)

Yeah thanks, I had pretty much that Rigol in mind when I went ebay searching.

I may drop a bid or two on this:

I just ordered a DS1104Z Plus with the LA probe set for a little over £700 all-in. Had my eye on the MSO5072, but with the probe set you were looking at ~£1200. 100MHz should be plenty for the sorts of things I get up to
