Leaded solder sources UK

Post by exxos »

Another thread just reminded me to post this link of where people in the UK can still get some really good leaded solder...

It is the stuff I have used for ages, and I daresay this is one of the best solders out there to use and it does not stink too bad either.

I buy from Rapid Electronics. Their own brand 60/40 is pretty good.

They also stock Warton Metals solders.

Rapid wouldn't allow me to easily buy the leaded solder like others found a few weeks back, but CPC do.

This T4 solder paste is really good for the price, I've tried the cheap solder paste and it's far nicer to use
