The PCB is 11mm x 16mm. SOT23-5 IC, 0805 caps.

I'm getting a old man, so needed a little help ;)

I think this will be a really useful tool. So far I have been using one of the small handheld pocket magnifies, and I have been trying to solder using this till now. I do have a very large magnifier with a light, but I cannot really use this for long as it starts hurting my eyes :(

At least with this small microscope, I can give myself a lot of room on the PCB, and should be able to solder a lot easier this way. And also this will be a lot better for checking for short-circuits across pins of ICs.

That looks awesome. The picture quality is very good!

I rely on one of those huge magnifying glasses on a big metal arm, but I can't use it with the hot air gun because it gets in the way. I'll definitely follow in your footsteps if my eyes get any worse than they already are (which is pretty bad)

I got one of those as well, got a good light on it as well. But after using it for like 10mins it makes my eyes go funny, so never been able to really use it.

Yeah they are rough - to keep everything in focus the glass has to be parallel to the work, which just makes it impossible to get your hands in!
