If you have some PCBs available, I'd be interested in one (which can go with your EPROM emulators when I finally work out how many of what I actually need... )
Re: BBC Model B No2. Will it live again!
I had to burn a eprom for a macintosh classic the other day after spending all day looking for my uv lamp
But I did win

@cmorleycmorley wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 7:05 pm I did a Tube USB adapter which allows you to snoop the bus via the Tube then feed that in to hoglet's 6502 decoder to get an execution trace on a model B.
I think I have PCBs left. The FT232H modules are about £6-7 including delivery.
Take a look at the stardot threads...
https://stardot.org.uk/forums/viewtopic ... 05#p198905
I'd definitely like a PCB, please, as well as one of your 64KB sideways EPROM kits too please. If you can let me know the total cost inc shipping by PM I'll Paypal you the funds.
I still have your details in Paypal so should be nice and quick.
Is there any specific FT232H module you'd recommend?

I would love a a eprom emulator that does the MCM68766 but can be programed in a 2764 socket
And a 2532 emulator that can be programed in a 2732
That would make me smile ☺

Ooh, that sounds interesting...I have the Solidisk Sideways ROM/RAM kit for my original Beeb somewhere...but a more modern (and reliable) alternative would be good.rubber_jonnie wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 11:45 pm I'd definitely like a PCB, please, as well as one of your 64KB sideways EPROM kits too please.
Another item to add to the wish list....
Re: BBC Model B No2. Will it live again!
27C400 has a /BYTE pin so works in 8-bit mode. A pinout adapter should work in pretty much any gear assuming you have the physical space for the 40 pin module + adapter. I did an adapter for the 1Mbit mask ROM in an Acorn Master for example.
Re: BBC Model B No2. Will it live again!
The PCB is designed to take the "CJMCU" one. Presumably because people have been searching for that term the helpful eBay sellers are selling a smaller module with different pinout under the same code now. There is a photo in the stardot thread of the correct one.rubber_jonnie wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 11:45 pm Is there any specific FT232H module you'd recommend?
