No problems, I used my standard iron at about 370 degrees with some fluxed solder wick, it came out no bother, though I would say the can of the modulator was already loose in the solder and nearly pulled straight off once I'd disconnected the other leads.

The solder is much easier to melt than later stuff like ST's.

Clearly I have some work to do. I dug out the 2600's, one is in pieces and my previous dodgy mod has been exposed so I can work out the problems. Looking at my old mod, I'm stuffed if I can remember what the mod even was and where I dug it up. I will remove it and start again, I think.
