Converting a WAV, MP3 etc to an SND file.

Post by Cosmic Puppet »

I found this program called RESOUND which plays a sound file of HAL when you exit a program and at system startup. It would be great if I could convert my own movie/sound clip.

I've had a nothing day, so I've figured this out using Adobe Audition:

1. Load up your sound clip.

It's best to use 9.6 KHz.

I found that using 30.7 KHz caused the Monochrome Millipede game to crash, showing four bombs. The other sample rates above 9.6 KHz created more artifacts whilst loading.

I also noted that shorter clips are "safer" too.

"Do you feel it Crawford?"
