I'm just trying the longer ones for now myself.
And got to agree about Fusion360, great tool, especially that hobby use is free.

Re: Floppy Support
Indeed, three at once, but i discovered i had glued the broken ones on my stf board, so i don't need the printed ones in the end.... for now.exxos wrote: ↑Fri Nov 16, 2018 12:35 pmrubber_jonnie wrote: ↑Fri Nov 16, 2018 12:08 pm I think one without the slots is worth a try too. Maeke's turned out ok.
I will modify the original one to be non-chamfered and with no slots for options.
Maeke printed 3 out at once by the looks of it.. so I will try that later as well.. likely end up better as discussed last night...
Well it was two years ago.

Re: Floppy Support
Got a few glued in myself!
Here are some more. with no chamfer to make it easier to print, and maybe a better fit in the MB.

Re: Floppy Support
Just as a little bit of extra info, these print fine at .2mm, but at .1mm had some very fine stringing, and I know that exxos also had some print problems including stringing too.
.2mm is fine for most scenarios, but if you try to print finer and get stringing, then dropping the filament temp should do the trick. I was running at 200C, dropping to 190C or 180C should make it nicer. I'd also suggest perhaps printing solid rather than with infill.
I will test sometime this week and report back.
