It looks ok..
Could you try the RAM boards on a known working ST ?
Also I didn't see you mention the shifter before, was getting hot ?

Re: Forgottenmyname - Progress
I tested it on my spare Mega board before I put it in the STF.
I've also tried a market btw, with the same result.
Shifter doesn't get hot atm, think I had a dodgy one before as this is a different one.

If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.
Re: Forgottenmyname - Progress
The RAM board shouldn't make any odds.. nothing has changed other over the STFM in that respect, other than the falcon ram board, which is basically the same as my 4MB simm kits which fit the STFM,
I guess if you patch the video cable you should really be at the same point as Icky...

Re: Forgottenmyname - Progress
That's the bit I can't understand right now.
I'm going to take all chips and the ram out and test them back in the Mega before going any further.

Re: Forgottenmyname - Progress
Probably a good idea.. Also check no bent pins on any chips or sockets.Forgottenmyname wrote: ↑Fri Sep 21, 2018 8:03 pm That's the bit I can't understand right now.

Re: Forgottenmyname - Progress
Took all the chips out of my good "Mega4" and put them into the STF. Connected up the marpet (think your board should be ok too, just wanted to leave it alive )
And finally, the Rom socket pin for /OE Was bent where I'd pushed it too hard with the scope probes.
Still gutted I got no bombs demo. Might have to code my own when it's working.
