ahhhh we might have a suspect...

What its looking like is I wired RW from the CPU to the RAM, when it should have been WE from the MMU (which isn't connected to anything)

Well done.

At least you are able to find it. I've got no hope with this number dyslexia (fact)

Took ages just to test the data and address lines etc.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

Does the atari cart give any clues ? you should be able to control that via serial..

If the keyboard is unplugged, do you get the constant clicking sounds ?

Well that fix made my floppy drive start working - need to check it out with some tests.

Desktop now shows Drives and Trash.

Still no a sound or keyboard
