No donations required. It was just for reference.

Customs fees were 23 quid for example. This is why I try and use what I already have lying around for parts

OK. New beta available. give it a whirl.

Can I ask you a little favor? Can you please put 0/1 (JTAG chain ID) in the JED file name so that I don't even to look up in the docs every time to find out what file goes on which chip? :)

Anyway, in the end I didn't buy the programmer, I macgyver'ed my own with xc3sprog and a STM32 Black Pill. That makes up a very cheap programmer, cheaper than a RasPi. If anybody is interested I can clean it up and release it.

Can’t you just create flashramcpld.sh and flashbuscpld.sh scripts?

I don’t know how to do what you ask automatically and I create the jed files with a make file that auto packages everything. Hand editing 7 jeds per release (and counting) isn’t going to happen.

DHL just emailed to say they’re delivering today. First look at the boards tonight

I have a few questions:

Since the CF/IDE adapter I use supports powering through pin 20 of the IDE connector, and since it is unconnected on the TF530, is it OK if i solder a wire from some 5V pin to pin 20?

Would you also keep this in mind for your newer boards? Maybe connect it through a jumper so that it can be disabled.

Question #2: Can I connect an IDE activity LED somehow? Another thing to consider for future boards.

Question #3: What is the BYPASS jumper for?

Thanks :).

All my new boards are 44pin ide with power supplied.

I always just use CF adaptors with LED connectors.

Its for programming the bus CPLD without the RAM CPLD soldered in..

Oh ok, but so do you see anything wrong if I solder a wire to pin 20 on the 530?

That would be fine.. but its probably less messy to power it from the PWR header directly
