Terriblefire in 2020

Post by terriblefire »

Ok a new year is here... two boards are already at the board house. Another is about to be sent off and a fourth will not be far behind it..

1. CD32 Riser Prototype
2. TF536 x 10 Board Experiment
3. TF1260 Revision 1
4. TF360 Revision 2 (updates from Tf1260)

There are things that are going to get in the way of this chiefly of which is a 3 Week flying trip planned in Feb/March to complete my FAA commercial pilots license. Then some flying on the US west coast in the summer...

Also I start a new job on monday with more responsibilities than i've had for the last 3 years.

Happy to hear you are still doing the flying stuff as well as the electronics.

Good luck with the new job.

Flying is my #1 hobby. Electronics is #2.

New job is a bit strange.. transitioning from consultant to employee.

Don't forget about Chinese new year festival - it is also in February, there is no pcb production during this period usually

An item is missing on your 2020 list: a genuine terrible fire on stream. We were promised this years ago, but you have still not delivered :(

Keep up the good work!

That started a week ago and goes on for another two. However, the virus outbreak is more of an issue as most of China is locked down at the moment.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

My CPL flight test is a week today. Expect radio silence until after that.
