Thanks. Yes I think it would be useful to get a thread with all cards sysinfo’d. I’m just painfully aware people skim threads and will assume that’s the speed we get. Start a new thread and I’ll approve it!

What can be done is to add a note on the picture itself (card model, clock speed, firmware if known). Everything will be clear by just looking on it.
That can be a main rule to avoid biggest misunderstanding.

Yes it slower but. There is a big but.
I have real 030 40mhz and what i have squized out from them on aca is 48Mhz and you can forget to start the card above 45mhz with China uknown flying cpu objects.

But on TF536 during tests on 50Mhz - no problems.

Real 50Mhz CPU's are not cheap today if you find one for sale.

Is it worth it?

Nice.
Kicks my Blizzard Mk1 in the gizzard and Jaws II+ in the teeth.

Snifferman - if my memory serves me the TF330 and TF356 are the same and there were no CPU shortages.

Hunt for Rev C's with last manufacturing mask, 25Mhz will run @ 50Mhz :)

Already have them

You mean CPU's which work or real 50Mhz rev C?
People have used black plastic versions to build TF cards and ceramic ones from China. It works. Try to do this on ACA1233 (50Mhz).

I think that TF cards are well optimized for stability, but some performance is sacrificed (comparing to ACA).

squeezing more can cost stability. If TF cards are targeted as cheap solution and DIY then better stick to optimal.

12Mips vs 10Mips is 1 FPS more in ADoom on full screen. It won't make any difference. It's too slow anyway

That's impressive. It's about 40% better than what I get from my E-Matrix 1230@50 Mhz. Any indication on the IDE performance?
