If its not booting then DiagROM is really the only option.
Ok, so. Finally got around to modding the motherboard and burning a DiagROM. Boots fine into DiagROM with the original 68k.

I checked all I could about the CPLD soldering. Voltages and clocks are OK. My board produces blank screen (video sync though), and no serial output from DiagROM.

I probed around on the data lines on the motherboard CPU socket to see if there was any activity. Attached is a capture of one of them. I'm seeing several distinct voltage levels which to me could indicate some kind of bus contention maybe? I'm not really that experienced.

Hoping you guys have some tips...

You expect 5, 3.3 and zero when you have a TF board in your system. You’ll have a solder bridge somewhere.

Hi,
I'm not so newbie but I'm still having trouble with a TF530..
The 030 seems to work but can't detect and write on chip ram( no screen), but testrom with serial port is working. after some test the 2M fastram seems to be ok...
This is a screenshot of testrom at boot:

Any ideas on what is missing to run this board? (I don't see any short on cplds, tried already to change the bus xc9572)

Thank in advance

Very likely a soldering fault somewhere. Looks like the lds uds lines

I'll check the whole board better, but it's weird because with the oscilloscope I can see activity on lds/uds pin :(

thanks anyway!

Actually you might get that if you have the CPU in 7Mhz mode or have a clock < 25mhz

Tried with 25,33 and 50MHz clock it's always the same, with the jumper in 7MHz clock diagrom doesn't even start...
I'm working with the binaries from tf530_2018_11_17_beta.zip, are these the latest?

Thanks

Found the problem, I soldered a 74lvc1g14 instead of 17... the one on the 7MHz clock signal that feed the cpld... my bad :(

now everything is working good :)
Thanks a lot!
