I did. The 534 booted DiagROM. 520 didn’t

Sorry if this is too obvious, but have you upgraded CDTV's Extended roms and kickstart? To get it work with kickstart 3.1 extended roms needed to upgraded. This is essential even with original SCSI solution. Kickstart 3.1 makes life with CDTV so much easier.

A500's kickstart 3.1 is correct one. There is two newer versions of extended roms. CDTV Extended-ROM v2.3 (1992) and CDTV Extended-ROM v2.7 (1992) only known difference is that latter one get screen tinted red, if there is no disk drive connected to CDTV. Both do, I have v2.3 extended roms and kickstart 3.1

Thanks.

I meant the physical roms. I think they're 27C1001s but there are variants of the pin-out allegedly.

That's great!!
i assume card is running nice, but IDE isn't booting, also CD Drive isn't working..
Was thinking about to patch extended roms with remus, or something what can change CD Drive boot priority from 0 to 1 or 2..
that will help us a lot, in other hand this will not let CD Drive to work
