Re: My CDTV Nightmare
Nah i'm completely done with the CDTV. I never got the thing to boot one of my boards and i'm wasting sh*tloads of time I dont have on it.
I dont plan any more A500 based accelerators anyways so it might just end up in landfill. I'm really glad i didnt borrow someones CDTV now or i'd feel really bad.

So no chance for an 030 with 64 MB RAM for the 1000/500(+)/2000?
A kludge is a workaround or quick-and-dirty solution that is clumsy, inelegant, inefficient, difficult to extend and hard to maintain.

I’m not totally against that either as I have an A4000/030 waiting for some power.

Re: My CDTV Nightmare
Ok so i cant leave a problem alone...
I disabled the CPU and used the TF534 to inject sequential addresses to see what comes back....
and i noticed
Got a full listing of what came back...
Looks like when A11 is high i get good data. When A11 is low i dont.. tell me what you think.. i've had a few drinks at this point.

Re: My CDTV Nightmare
And lo when he doeth a continuity test he finds A11 is shorted to every line on the lower data bus... WTF?
