My CDTV uses A2000 keyboard. It is easy to do, just remove one pin from PS2 connector and some soldering.

I dont have any money for this right now. Hence its parked.

I've £500+ sunk into Amiga boards that need to shift before I can consider this... so i'll be working on TF330 and TF534 firmwares for the next few months.

However the IR Controller chip seems to be fried. Its getting mighty hot.

Are there spares or replacements available for them?

EDIT: This chip is U75 or 252609-02
More info about may be found here:

Also You can see chip pinout there, maybe this will help You in any kind.

On a side note:
Currently assembled CDTV SCSI adapters, and noticed that these working perfectly even with KS 1.3 and extended rom v.1, this means scsi.device used to boot from SCSI drive is taken from extended rom, not KS, maybe You can just change this address in Your firmware so TF534 use extended rom scsi.device instead of KS one?

Thanks. Be interested to figure out what some of the less usual signals do.

I think that scsi.device is an actual SCSI drive.

It is bit confusing that scsi.device is used with IDE, but what ever device is in kickstart in prety sure that it is very hardware dependant. I mean it woun't work with IDE. Dooprey's rom split and remus supports CDTV/CD32 extended roms and I have tried to use what is inside with custom kickstarts, to make CD boot possible with "normal" amiga with IDE CD-drive using scsi.device.

If you need a keyboard to your CDTV, easiest way would be to get A2000/3000/4000 keyboard and modify PS2 cable/connetor to it. If 8 bit dreams managed to get one, I would be happy to share cost.

Please ask seller will ANY PS/2 keyboard really work?

Also SORDAN is selling some adapters here, these have ATMEL chip inside i guess...

I have the Lyra adapter for the A4000/CD32. I'll get around to looking at this machine soon. There is a lot of stuff to fix first.

Oh, that's cool! This will work, You just need to build an adapter for that adapter (with mini DIN 5 at the other end) and swap two wires ;)

Well i figured that the VNC2 chip might just save us all the need for adapters. It should just be a case of writing the correct code and an adapter.
