Power Switch on the CDTV

The power switch on my CDTV is knackered. So i removed the unit today and started hunting for a replacement.
Looks like a standard part but i'll need to check the physical measurements closely

First candidates i'm looking at are the SPUN191600 and SPUJ190900

I'm guessing its one of them just need to measure what i have.

Measurements match pretty closely to the SPUN191600 So I'll go with them.

anyone got any tips for putting those flex connectors back in on the CDTV.

Those are very fragile and break easily. And after all they are 30 years old.

Its just a really awful design.. I doesnt feel like commodore did the CDTV to me.

i just soldered pin headers to these wires, its much easier to put them back again
