Those actually look better and when it comes to possible height issues I was planning to use something like https://github.com/SukkoPera/Open68000Relocator.

Ignore the above part number, it seems different sites just misuse different part numbers for different parts.
The part i am looking for is more like this:

A little more height would be nice but it seems you can stack the machined parts quite nicely.

Yes, the relocator boards are really nice, I also am planning to use one.

Edit:
If you have to go Digikey this one looks good, but it is very expensive and you need 2, and 2 more if you need to solder your relocator:

I have 4 boards left. I’d left 2 people PMs to pay for them but as they haven’t already I’m going to go through the rest of the folk that requested one later and offer them
