PhilC wrote: Fri Aug 30, 2019 9:28 pm Just re-flashed one of my TF534s from the ST to the Amiga.

Everything looks good so far and tomorrow I'll get the rest of the Amiga stuff together.

A couple of questions for you Amiga TF Gurus.

1. My 500+ has Kickstart 2, do I need to upgrade it to 3.1?
2. Is there any specific Diagrom version to use? I'm planning to burn it to a 27C400 but not burnt any Amiga Roms yet.
3. Will I need to get any specific drivers for the IDE interface, or will this work out of the box with KS3.1? / KS2.04?
4. Will I need to disable the MMU etc for it to work?
5. Other than youtube, is there any written instructions for setting up a TF card on an Amiga. I'm more of a reader than a watcher for learning stuff.
6. Is 50mhz going to be unreliable with Alliance memory?

Apologies if these are repeats of questions already asked. Just getting my TF Amiga fix.
You need at least KS 2.05 to get IDE support. That the Amiga 600HD Rom.. (Not KS 2.04 which is what came with most A500+s)

Use latest DiagROM 1.2

K2.05+ IDE works.. otherwise IDE not worky.

I use ClassicWB... just install it with WinUAE on a CF card and go...

I recommend MMULib for mufastrom.

Or just go 3.1.4

No, sorry, had to reprogram one I already had for the Amiga.

Hopefully TF will release the 536 some time soon.

Isn't the Tf536 shelved due to TF pursuing the Tf360?

I'm willing to bet it will make a reappearance in some format once TF is ready

It’s on hold because @alenppc couldn’t get it working. I don’t want to release a board that people are going to have lots of issues with.

Amiga progress so far.

The board boots Diagram with one slight problem. It's not showing any fast ram at all.

Any ideas ? Again probably me doing something silly.

There are many reasons... go look at the memory with the memory editor and see if its just unreliable or if its dead.
