May I ask what is SPI port used for on TF534?

Is it not possible to connect an SD card instead of a CF card to be used as harddrive?

No this doesnt work. I think with some hacking you could get SPI SD cards working via the SPI port. It would need a driver loaded from the CF card though. So you always need a CF card or some kinda hard disk added to the IDE interface.
