The horribly corroded A500+ lives!!! I had to replace three 74LS logic IC's, but all the Amiga chipset IC's work fine. I have tested most of it and everything works so far on the motherboard, including internal and external floppy. I'll try a TF534 in it later on. It has 2 MB chipram with the expansion I made for it.

The floppy drive that came with this Amiga was also horribly corroded. Looks like the caps spilled their guts many years ago, so the motor controller IC looks awful, and when I removed it the PCB is pitted. Trying to get that working as well now.

The floppy drive is a lost cause. The IC is probably dead.

TF534 works fine on the board. Batman Vuelve hangs at one graphical effect but I assume that's because of the ECS denise. Everything else I have tested runs perfect.

My 500+ with TF534 rendered the same resolution fish scene in just 2h 30m. That's over half and hour faster than in my A500 or A2000. What's up with that? It's the same TF534 I used in the S500, with only difference being I reduced the clock speed to 40 MHz.

Today I'm getting a couple of TF536 PCB's from the Exxos shop. Look forward to building and trying that out.

LOL I received some 030's today as well from China. They have obviously been faked. They have the same serial number and crooked print, as well as evidence of corner softening and surface treatment. I mean, if you're gonna cheat maybe not send two with the same serial number to the same customer.

I believe my other 030 33 MHz and 50 MHz gold are genuine though because they look old, unprocessed and are straight.

Out of curiosity: Where do you see a serial number? Afaik, 68030 are not individually serial-numbered.

Apart from that, I agree that these are relabeled, like (mostly) everything you buy on eBay these days. On your photo it looks like the black paint might come off with a solvent, perhaps revealing the old marking.

The bottom line must be batch number then. I'll try.

They both work at 40 MHz and MMU is recognized.

I use this cpu for tf534
is used this what I think some of cpu have solder blobs on pins
But any way cpu is good quality some of them I run on 48mhz with tf534 even few on 50mhz but not in tf536 is working only with tf330
For over 70pcs I had only 5 or 6 faulty
I can recommend this cpu for tf534
All this cpus have same numbers doesn't matter from with sellers you buy
Try run this card on 48mhz if you have crystal ofcourse

I think the bumps that look like solder blobs are there to space the CPU from the socket. All mine have them, and they make it easier to remove the CPU because of the gap. Are they in different places on different CPUs? Mine are socketed now.

I finished my first TF536 now. Seems to work. Gonna add IDE next. Will test without the buffers first.

I installed a MEMS oscillator instead of the usual crystal.

I designed side doors with integrated CF and SDcard slots and holders for the A500 case. Should fit with the RF shield in place if the end flap on that side is bent up or cut off.

The IDE cable is short enough to work fine with the TF534 in this position.
