I think its just the bevel on the edge making it appear thick Alen

Mark, whats your take on the TF328s. They've all been 1.6mm... too thick?

OK. Subject to confirmation these are the parts (non standard) that i've ordered for the TF330.

Micron MT48LC16M16A2P-6A:G, SDRAM 256mb Surface Mount, 3 → 3.6 V, 54-Pin TSOP
Texas Instruments SN74CB3T3245PW, Bus Switch, 8 x 1:1, 2.3 → 3.6 V, 20-Pin TSSOP
Xilinx XC95144XL-10TQG144I, CPLD XC9500XL Flash 144 Cells, 117 I/O, 8 Labs, ISP, 144-Pin TQFP
Crystal Oscillator CMOS 100.000MHz 3.3V (7x5mm SMD)

The regulators is the usual LM1117-3.3 that i've used on all my boards to date.

Caps are 10uF X7R 1206, 1uF X7R 1206 and 0.1uF 0603 (10V for 5V rail, 6V for 3.3V rail).

Resistor networks match the TF53x. Bourns CAY16 2K

There are 2 other resistors that match the pull up and pull down for the IDE interface.

The rest is headers etc. Full BOM will follow but thats the outline

They are bevelled edge, but with JLCPCB it's just not as pronounced as with some other manufacturers (45 degrees as opposed to 30 or whatever... something like that). Once I accidentally ordered 1.6 non bevelled edges and they definitely broke the connector - anyways my personal preference is 1.2 mm for these.

Mark, whats your take on the TF328s. They've all been 1.6mm... too thick?
1.6mm is perfect Steve as its just a nice tight push fit and they do not sag when inside the CD32 ,
this is good especially if people do not have motherboard shields

IMHO 1.2mm is too thin and they flop terribly from my experience

I wonder if the variation in experience is down a different brand of MCA Connector? I think all the ones I have are AMP.

8-bit dreams: mouser used to have a huge stock but someone cleaned them out. They spent 1000s literally... anyway they will be back in stock.

Supaduper: would you be willing to share your source for the DB23 connectors?
