Re: TF1230 Beta Interest (Open Source)
Maybe it's better to move the whole thing only to 288 so that there is no 2 version? And I tested in my 1D.1 and unfortunately it doesn't workterriblefire wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 4:24 pm If goose can send me a 288 version (or even a blank) the faster ata from the TF1260 will fit in the 288. I replaced kickstarts with the same ones as in operating 2B and the symptoms are as follows:
1.CF card connected to ide on the A1200 board => power LED brightens after the reset and finally the screen is black.
2.disconnected HDD controller on the disc => floppy drive is heard as it normally starts from the floppy disk but the screen is still black and after a while the monitor goes into standby floppy drive is ticking.
3. I disconnect TF1230 => Amiga starts to work normally by itself and Apollo1260 is ok too.
I wonder if this can be fixed somehow?

No because the 288 is twice the price of a 144 and price is everything with this card.markus0321 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 4:42 pm Maybe it's better to move the whole thing only to 288 so that there is no 2 version? And I tested in my 1D.1 and unfortunately it doesn't work

Re: TF1230 Beta Interest (Open Source)
I found the reason for not working and already on 1D.1 it is ok.terriblefire wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 4:45 pmNo because the 288 is twice the price of a 144 and price is everything with this card.markus0321 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 4:42 pm Maybe it's better to move the whole thing only to 288 so that there is no 2 version? 1.damaged VGA adapter (unsoldered synchro pin)
2. It seems that when I have TF1230 connected, I cannot use long IDC tapes for the IDE controller on the motherboard.
I'm not bothering anymore and I'm finally going to play with the new turbo card
I will let you know when I detect any abnormal behavior.
Thank you for your help
P.S. I have already ordered Chip 144 on Ali I wonder what it will be and when it will be with me ....

A used pull if you're lucky, a relabelled QA reject if you're unlucky.markus0321 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 5:01 pm P.S. I have already ordered Chip 144 on Ali I wonder what it will be and when it will be with me ....
Not really ideal to build with one of those and report red herring issues back here on a card that is still in Beta..

Pretty much agree.. dont use dodgy parts for a first build.

You're right, but I realized after some time that this chip may be suspicious because I had more of them and I bought some of them from another place. Only after some time did I realize that I had such a problem before.terriblefire wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 6:03 pmPretty much agree.. dont use dodgy parts for a first build.
I apologize for the trouble if I have upset someone.
And the fact that this ehide.device does not work for me now, when I connect the CF card to the FT1230 socket, do you think that the chip may also be fault?
I tried loadmodule ehide.device and it won't load, sysinfo doesn't show it in the list either.
Re: TF1230 Beta Interest (Open Source)
Do you get an eror message when it is using LoadModule on bootup, what Amiga OS you using ? what partition size have you got on the CF card on the TF1230 IDE port

Boot without startup-sequence from DF0 drive:
Load module devs: ehide.device => system reboots without messages and reloads from floppy but ehide.device is not loaded in memory and no partitions mounted in system are visible.
I set up the partition with a small 200mb for testing and it will start normally in the controller from the motherboard. I have kickstart 3.1 but I have OS 3.2 installed.

It seems this CF Platinum 4GB card does not work in the controller in TF card. As I do the same but with the SD <=> IDE adapter it is visible normally.markus0321 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 6:58 pmBoot without startup-sequence from DF0 drive:
