Small update - I have ordered the ATF chips from mouser. When they come, I will add a basic kit of parts I have to my store. Then people can order the stuff via my store like normal.

There are some more mods to do, nothing huge, but still ill so progress is also. Myself and icky are busy with other stuff this week as well. But we are looking into the second version of the design (more compact). Though of course the V1 needs testing before we think about getting V2 PCB's made.

MOD 2

This mod solves a "potential" stability problem. I noticed if some signals are even loaded with a 10x scope probe, it was enough to cause some malfunctions. The interface hasn't failed in use otherwise, though I did not like such a small "load" on a signal being able to cause issues. So this mod is to just make sure that this issue doesn't happen full stop. So its a "just in case fix".

PARTS:
50pF & 33pF ceramic capacitor
1K & 6.8K resistor.

Picture of the MOD 2 with my jumper hacks. I couldn't find a 33pF so am using 30pF until my cap stock is replenished.

Couldn't agree more Icky. I'm assuming that we will need to put these together ourselves so no lead will not be an option here. :D :D :D

The value isn't terribly critical...

I need to order some caps, so probably just include them in the kits.. I think I actually have most of the parts other than the LS chips...

The good news is the ATF chips come.. the bad news is they were ordered before the latest firmware changes, so the firmware no longer fits in a ATF1504 :(

I've been trying to compile it in a 1504 and it just won't do it :(. The code isn't that complex even, so its mad it won't compile. So I will have to order some 1508's

My ATF programmer arrived today, so in between Granddad duties at the weekend I shall get it installed on my Windoze laptop.

Is there any chance of sharing the code guys? I could use it to get a head start and of course to start learning the CPLD stuff.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

We are not at the point of releasing the code yet. Though updates will be sent for the dev board (jed file) as and when updates are done. Though for a beginner the code isn't going to make any sense. Though we will try and do a simple tutorial soon. You may be better starting with a GAL22V10 if you can program those. It will be a whole lot easier to get started in programming and you can transfer that over to the more complex ATF chip later (you will need some form of a breakout board). Rodolphe created a simple breakout board for these so may be worth asking him if he can send you the file so you can get the a board made.
