Hmm, driver wouldn't install on the 128MB drive, but it did partition the drive in 4x32Mb slices, and on booting from my AHDI floppy to TOS 2.06, I get drive C added automatically, and I can add the remaining 3 partitions by using 'Add Devices'.

That's all a win to me.

Here's a quick vid https://youtu.be/vng3kdKh3as

Ok, found it.. as a last resort I took out the plcc and using a steel rule aligned any pins that were at all suspect... put it back in and tried again. Presto!!!! it works, I've been over the board so much I couldn't believe it didn't do anything but a ROCK imitation. So there is now JOY in mudville!!!

Glad you found the issue PaulJ. :cheer: Great job :cheer:

Now the testing begins. What can you throw at this board and see if you can find any issues.

My PLCC socket for the ROM has been a bit iffy, but a few tweaks as per my how to and all is well :)

You can find it here: https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... hilit=plcc

Next job is to get it to boot, and to try a few other devices.

One question.

Are the select 1 and select 2 jumpers going to have a use going forward?

If not, is it feasible to remove the jumpers and simply replace them with the resistor/capacitor combo?

Mine look like a half dead xmas tree, so I want to tidy things up!

If not, I think I will move them to the underside of the board.

The caps and resisitos can be hardwired to the PCB.
