Thanks for giving Vista a test. I know I've not had a good record with 060 suggestions (TFX being the other) , just trying to think of processor intensive progs/games. Seeing anymore Quake demo and i dont think i can face playing it  Joking aside, the Quake demo is a good showcase for the speed increase in Mhz.

Here is another texture mapped game which I never have seen before:

Original is on a CD, which it says needs to stay in drive, so that might be an interesting test for a complete CD32. The link above is to an archived demo, which should run from Workbench. I will also look at for some 060 scene demos. I think 'Starstruck' has already been suggested.

Only did the bare minimum to get it to work for me (tm):

EDIT: only tested in winuae, build with:
vc -c99 +aos68k -I$NDK_INC -o testdisk testdisk.c -lamiga -lmieee

I was able to get the 360 to boot with the EC CPU.

Turns out it's an LC. This one might be able to do 75 mhz I think.

Other findings:

My rev1s (masks 01F43G and 01G65V) won't run at 66 mhz.

None of the Novacoder's games will run on LC cpus, including those that don't require an FPU (Wolf3D, doom) and that run fine on the 330. I suspect the code somehow tries to access the FPU even though it's not there.

Also the system won't always boot with an LC CPU, sometimes a power cycle is required.

All of NovaCoders games are compiled for FPU which is missing on the LC.

Try sorting your caps. The 1206s should be multilayer 100nF the 0603s should be 1uF X7R.

The ones under the CPU?

Yeah. But that’s the general rule over the board too except for the reg caps and the big ones down the side.

Ok here is the reconfigured power area on the TF360 r1

The idea is it give you two ways to attach a power supply depending on how its wiring is. Normal TAB ones can now lie flat (sorta)

Can't wait to play with this! With the similarities between the CD32 and A1200, I think it was mentioned that someone else is working on an A1200 version? Any chance it will be released around when the TF360 is?
