Yeah it`s strange that Winimage does not write it, and the image definitely exactly the same size or smaller than the CF you are using ?

I'm using a 16Gb card an the file is 1Gb.

How did you write to the CF in the end bud ?

I used WInImage... i wasnt convinced it had worked but it was ok in the end.

Sweet !!

If you want a laff , this depressive guy on the tube faffs about installing AROS over OS 3.1 , the first part is funny because he reminds me of the depressed robot on` hitch hikers guide to the Galaxy` :)

Version 9.0 :

Run as Admin.
"Disk" menu.
Restore virtual Hard Disk image on physical drive.
Choose device from list.
Change file extensions to *.*
Choose and open .hdf
Yes to begin writing straight away.

*Edit* No 'happy' message when writing completes, just returns to main window.
