So when you say updates you mean BB2 updates?

And still the puzzle is that your test OS39 does work on mine all very puzzling
Yeah OS3.9 + BB1&2 and you get purple screen at startup.

We've dug deep into this now and i'm continuing to work on it.

EDIT: Specific setup is OS3.9 + BB1&2 + MMULib.

On my setup i have also got Mediator installed but that doesnt make a difference to the bootup.

Nothing else is installed on the card.

No issues running 3.9 on the 360 here using the image Steve sent me, although I suspect this might not be the BB2 version?

Yes, it has the same files, and the version seems to be the same as yours. So I guess no issues then?

Exec is definitely updated, and no updates are skipped.

Yes bud that is a vanilla OS_39 BB2 with MMU so good news it works for you, just waiting for chucky and Steve to see if they have any joy with it

I am tracing through the OS 3.9 startup by hand on the Logic Analyzer... looking for why it fails.

EDIT: This may take some time.

I believe i have a complete trace of all memory accesses after reboot from the end of the colour bars to the point where it sets the purple screen...

This was a chore to do with an LA with a 4K buffer..

Basically I have a way i can programatically reboot the Amiga (mains power on/off via IP commands) and i have a networked logic analyser (which is programmable over TCP/IP). So i decided to write code to trigger on the error (3rd write of 0f0f to dff180 after power up) at the end of the buffer and work backwards... Writing a python script to parse the buffer, setup new triggers, reboot the Amiga and repeat...

Here is the output... its been weeks of effort to get this

Remember this is instruction and data fetches not cpu execution addresses.

I need to figure out where this deviates from winuae.
