Its the clock multiplier chip.

The updated CPUSPEED works better for me too - no more garbled output when clocking to 75 and can now clock back to 50 without it crashing. Thanks!

It's interesting that all these people needed this modified CPUSPEED application. I never had a problem with the original.

I suspect non-standard maths libs may be part of the issue.

Ah, I see! So the multipliers are fixed! I am guessing if crystal was dropped to 20Mhz, that would slow access down to Amiga chip set etc? ie. perhaps allow me a CPU speed of 66Mhz, but reduce some performance when its in the other domain (due to that drop from 25 to 20Mhz)?

The trouble is that the only frequency that the spec says the multiplier works with over the whole range is 25Mhz. I have plans to use the clock undoubled... but i need time to get to it.

Does the TF1260 support autoconfig? I'm trying to get it running on my aca500plus but no luck so far. One of the system information screens suggests there's an autoconfig incompatibility but no details.
