TF1260 IDE not working with beta firmware
Hi there, So I was able to update the firmware on my TF1260 using a rpi and it runs great, anyway I wanted to put the ehide.device and tf IDE port to use but no matter what I try it dosnt work!! I either get a guru or a crash to a black screen. Has anybody else experienced this? Does anybody have any ideas on how to get it working? I am using kickstart 3.1.4 and my workbench is on a SD card on the Amigas IDE port. Thank you.

No - where can I get this?

Every builder has their own disk image, so you should ask yours.

Re: TF1260 IDE not working with beta firmware
I tried adding the line C:loadmodule DEVS:ehide.device to the startup sequence, I also tried booting with no startup sequence and typing it in to the prompt, and to rule out my harddisk install I tried making a workbench floppy with the line added to it. as soon as they run and if there is a card in the cf on the tf ide I get a crash if there is no card in the cf adapter it carrys on as normal.

Re: TF1260 IDE not working with beta firmware
Its not a crash. Its the OS rebooting with the new module in. Thats expected.
LoadModule MODULE/M,LIST/S,NOREBOOT/S,IGNOREVERIFY/S,NOMEMFKICK/S,
REVERSE/S,HEADERFORWARDS/S,REMOVE/S,AUTO/S,ROMUPDATE/S,
EXECTOCHIP/S,ALLTOCHIP/S,DOWNGRADE/S
MODULE/M: Several file names of resident modules to be made
reset-resident. The file names need not to correspond
to the names of the resident modules, though.
"LoadModule" will figure out the correct names itself.
The module names can also be specified by wildcards
which will be resolved by LoadModule automatically.
LIST/S: List all resident modules installed by "LoadModule"
NOREBOOT/S: Avoid a reboot even if this would be apropriate. This
is useful for cascading "LoadModule" with other tools
that would reboot the machine anyhow, e.g. MuMove4K.
"LoadModule" tries to reboot the machine whenever it
is invoked for the first time and no resident modules
are found, or whenever it shall be removed and some
modules are installed.

You have some other software issue then. You might have found a bug in EHIDE or have a CF card that cannot do PIO Mode 4.
