The cold helps because at gate level frequency scales with temp and voltage
Colder u need less voltage to operate core.something i learn from overclocking with ln2

I think most probaly is problemm with ur psu or u 3.3 volt ic check for good socket contact with pins.replace 3.3 voltage regulator and ensure good ground with the socket .
I had the board in my lab running for a day. No issues. The same actual board AlenPPC has now. its not the power ic. I also replaced all socket connections. So its not the socket either.

Just like to add that AlenPPC has built around 500 of my boards. He's not a newbie and this isnt a simple issue.

His built board has been back to me and returned to him working in so far as i could figure out (it was working as far as I could see when i got it). This isnt some silly solder joint bad or a bad IC or something. If that were the case this board would already be released.

If it were a PSU issue then other boards like the TF534 would very likely display the same issue as they have the same power supply setup and actually draw more power.

The lack of being able to figure this out is why the boards have sat on a shelf for 9 months.

What are chances that it is Amiga or Amiga PSU issue?

I deleted your last post because it was a one word reply repeating something that has already been covered and it was not helpful. Stop this.

I tried this on A500 (fully recapped), A500+ and A1000, and I get the same behaviour. It is very odd. I have no issues with the 530 or the 534. I am using a newish (few years old) 250W AT PSU.

I am using the exact same parts I used for the 330, including ram chips, CPUs and CPLDs.

Now I left the board soaking in alcohol for a few days, then I will try to remove any trace of flux, just in case it has anything to do with this.

Ah! This may be Your issue!
ATX PSUs are not as good as You may think for Amigas, cause these are designed to use +12V as a primary voltage, while 5V rail is not as clean and accurate as Amiga needs to - there is too much ripple on some PSUs, beside of that if You use old long amiga psu cable (that has very big resistance) You will not get what You expect. Something that has adjustable 5V rail should be used. :geek:

It's AT, not ATX, they still make them new.
