Similar plans, ZZ9000 in dispatch from MNT. Should be fine as they have tested with Zorro II systems. But fingers crossed.

I was gathering info on the use of the TF536 and the ZZ9000 and stumbled into this thread.

FYI ....

I picked up a TF536 yesterday from alenppc.

I installed it last night. System (A2000) works fine.

I installed the ZZ9000 today. It's a no go.

I have both an ecs v2 and a megachip. I removed both. Still nothing - the Amiga hangs as soon as an RTG mode is selected.
Note: I had no issues with the TF534.

Next option... Upgrade the firmware to 1.6.x (I was using 1.5.1. This time, the ZZ switches to the RTG mode then hangs
(a bit better but we're still under water :)

I have informed Lukas. I'm sure he'll fix it. I also initially had issues with the TF534.

@ProfPlum

Hi. I'm thinking of buying a ZZ9000 for my a500 with a checkmate zorro board. Just out of interest how was the RTG performance when it was working on TF534.

Thanks

Yes mate I`ve seen that thread.....I still have my TF534.......I`m hoping theres a fix for this TF issue at some point....you see the P96 software needs a 020 minimum to run the zz9000...... :x

I dont know what other card i could use tbh.
