what if You widen the holes so that pin strips are going deeper?
This will reduce hight to 1 -2mm

Thats not a bad idea, the problem is if you make the holes large enough for the pin strip to drop in further
then there probably won't be room between the pads for the traces.

I was going to switch to sockets just to make it easier to solder at an angle with a 3D printable support. As that's the easiest solution I can think of. Else the other option would be to have the TF socket over the top of the keyboard ribbon cable. But as they are fragile enough these days, I didn't want to interfere with it.

No suggestion is a bad one so all ideas welcome. When I get time I'll tweak the design a bit

Could anyone possibly provide me with the latest rev2 firmware pre a2000 fix?

Doesn't look like I have anything apart from the most recent few off of the GitHub anymore, and most of the links here are now dead.

Much appreciated

Check your email.

BTW, the TF536 now runs on A500, A1000, A600, A2000 and Atari ST via various PCB adapters for each machine. This is gotta be the world's most versatile card ever, all we are missing is 68K Mac.

rev.2 TF536 board has a problem on KS 3.1 - it doesn't boot - just hangs on black screen,
...
Try a few different 3.1 EPROMs? The A600 might be picky - I don't think it uses pullups on it's address lines?

Excellent cheers. I'll give them a go.

@alenppc You forgot the mention the CDTV.... and the fact that a relocator exists for that one is your fault in the first place!

@Lemaru, what's the difference from my adapter apart from the form factor? None?
A kludge is a workaround or quick-and-dirty solution that is clumsy, inelegant, inefficient, difficult to extend and hard to maintain.

My lack of focus:
[ 4 * Amiga 500 ][ Amiga 500+ ][ 2 * Amiga 600 ][ A1200 ][ Amiga 2000 w/ A2386 ][ Amiga 4000/030 w/ CyberVision 64 3D, FastLane SCSI Z3 ][ CD32 ][ VIC-20 ][ 4 * C64 Breadbin ][ 5 * C64C ][ 2 * C128 ][ C128D ][ C64 DTV ][ Mac Classic ][ Mac Classic II ][ Mac Colour Classic ]

Just the form factor, to give it a bit better fit and mounting points to hold it to the motherboard.

Was going to speak to someone about sorting out by he bus arbitration through logic but after seeing your method is also the way used in the early Furia cards I didn't see the point in going that way.

Happy to send you the files if you like. My routing could probably be neater.

(I have credited you on the board too)

I was just curious what made some have success with my adapter and some not. I think @terriblefire had success in booting the card on his A600, but his PLCC CPU still got hot? I could be wrong.

It would be fun to have a look at your files. At least out of curiosity :D
