Hi ,

Could be seeing this wrong due to light reflection ... but I noticed this pin (A21? 68000 socket) that looks not completly soldered :?:

Now connect up the serial port and see what it says. Baud 9600

This is probably not the issue put worth a brain storm I guess, are you using the latest firmware edition 2nd of August version If I
recall correctly?
Reason I ask, you are testing on a 2000 (known issue with April version of firmware) and a 500++ Re-Amiga board which probably has limited testing if any.

When testing in an A600 you also get a back screen on the latest firmwares. As you are using a non-standard motherboard it might be worth giving an older version a go.

Some answers to suggestions.
Yes its the 2nd of August CPLD firmware.
Both the A2000 and A500++ boot KS2.04 and DiagROM fine.

I tried serial connecting a D25 (cross cable, not straight through), 9600 8N1, no output.
Various different red/green color & then cyan colors displayed.

I built a second unit, only gets me a grey screen :-(

I think i might have run out of skills on this, is ok to ask if any UK based builders would consider attempting to fix my boards ?

Had that issue on A600, with that firmware.

Diagrom and kickstart 2.0 work fine. Kickstart 3.1 gives a black screen.

Flashed my cards with 20th July firmware and they now work fine.
